ARBAA HISTORY

PT. ARBAA ENERGY RESOURCES is a private owned company found in 2008 at Jakarta.

In the early years, ARBAA major contribution was managed small coal concession as mine contractor at Jorong - South Kalimantan.

Over the time, ARBAA slowly aim its objective to arrange coal sales and purchase between overseas and their domestic clients with Indonesian coal producers, mostly for low to medium coal rank from South Kalimantan origin. The services is called ARBAA Coal Trading division.

In the year 2010, supported by experience team work and their good networking in coal business area, ARBAA, started its new division of 'Coal Handling Management Services'.

The main objective of ARBAA Coal Handling Management Services is to support, monitor, advice and execute of successful coal shipment activity.

Coal Sourcing

  

One of ARBAA Coal Handling Management Services is Coal Sourcing. Coal Sourcing is very important and one of the key for successful coal shipment. ARBAA will provide information to its clients regarding coal sources related to client's needs.

For the time being ARBAA has connected to some small to medium scale miner at Kalimantan, especially South Kalimantan and also some part of Sumatera.

Documents & Legality Adviser

At this stage ARBAA will advise and guide its clients to review Coal Sale and Purchase terms and conditions, including payment terms.

For overseas buyers, a common payment term is Letter of Credit at sight. ARBAA will provide guidance to review and how to handle the L/C started from the beginning of draft L/C - L/C acceptance - L/C amendment (if any) - further to L/C document negotiation at the negotiating bank.

Transhipment & Vessel Handling

 

ARBAA provides assistance to handle coal transshipment and vessel handling for CFR term of sales.

The services covering barge provider services, barging schedule, barge loading monitoring, barge/transshipment monitoring and vessel loading monitoring.

ARBAA will provide daily report and update their activity to its clients covering all activities at site, including all crucial issues arise, barging log book, vessel laytime and demurrage analysis.

ARBAA also provide vessel handling especially for CFR basis. This service includes vessel inquiry, negotiation, vessel contract/fixture note, vessel monitoring, vessel loading and discharge monitoring.

Shipment Operation

ARBAA provides a team to manage, execute and monitor all shipment activities. Start from the early stage of the activities up until vessel loading completed and sailing.

Shipment Activity Monitoring.

In order to get update information of all activities at site, ARBAA operational team periodically updates all activity at site to head office, which is very useful for the management team for further analysis and projection.

Export Documents Handling

ARBAA also provide export documents arrangement with local authority. Backed up by two ARBAA's partner company, which both companies are IUP-OPK holders.
